Leeds Castle, Sissinghurst Castle gardens and Scotney Castle gardens are within easy reach whilst further afield but well worth a visit, is Canterbury with its magnificent cathedral. Dover for day trips to France, the charming fishing port of Rye and Camber Sands are easily accessible. Shops and pubs 100 yards.
